The art of bonsai involves far more than just growing a tree in a small pot, the trees must be carefully trimmed, pruned, and trained to specific visually pleasing shapes. The goal of the bonasi tree is to recreate nature in a miniature form very similar to the philosophy behind the Japanese water gardens. The proper bonsai care requires patience and dedication to properly grow, prune and maintain the tree.
